Hello Sergey,

Do you think would be possible to make this ?

For example I`d like to restrict users to submit a cobalt field X number of times. for example:

I`ll have this emerald plans:

Plan A, Plan B, Plan C

  • Plan A = able to submit a value for a field 5 times
  • Plan B = able to submit a value for a field 15 times
  • Plan C = able to submit a value for a field 45 times

So when user hit the limit he wont be able to submit a value in that field anymore.

Regards

I think it is possible. Set plans limits to 5, 15, 45 set them to field you want and set count usage YES.

I think count unique access. Although it does not matter because submit happens only once per article and later it is edit.

Hello

I did that but seams even if I limit in the plan settings, user can still add values in that field when he reaced the limit of the plan.

Ok, here is what you have to do.

  1. Set cound mode to Count every access. Note changes will apply only to new created user subscriptions.
  2. In Field parameters check that Skip settings are all None, No, No.

because sometimes when you check as admin, rules will not be applied.

This should make a trik.

Is this fix done in Emerald only or also in Cobalt because i just update to this latest release of Emerald and same thing happens, the limit is not applied when you try to submit again.

In Cobalt only. Please update Cobalt.

One thing I see, if user tries to edit a listing for which he submitted a value for that field, it dosnt allow him to edit the field value because the limit 1/1 was reached.

Hello Sergey,

I`m confrunting and issue, for example if someone purchase a subscription with 1 as limit, if he goes on the submit form and then go away from the submission form, then the count is done even if he didnt submitted the form.

Is it possible to count the limit only after pressing "submit" button ?

I need to explain to you with screenshare so you can better understand this :(
