I'm using Cobalt 8.740.

I have a multi-level select field that allows a maximum of 10 options. When I select 10 options, I get an error message saying "Select no more than 10 options". If I select 9 options, it works. It looks like there is an error somewhere in validating the number of selections vs the max parameter.

what if you set 11 as limit in field options?

Then it will only allow 10. It always allows 1 less than maximum.

I did more experimenting with different numbers and it's always the same - 1 less than the maximum is actually allowed. It drives the users nuts since the message posted by Cobalt says the maximum is 10 but they can only enter 9. It looks like a simple < vs <= type check somewhere but haven't been able to track it down.
