Menu Item Type: User homepage. What is it for?

Hi, there is Menu Item Type named "User homepage" in Cobalt. What is it for?

As far as I see, only selection for Home Category in general setting. And when I try to choose one of them, what the menu does when I click it is only redirect me to the selected category.

Could you tell me what is Menu Item Type: User homepage for?

It have to add user_id to the url and show you all your articles in given section.

Hmm, I still don't get it. :(

Could you explain me step by step to utilize this Menu Item Type.

Because the only parameter is "Home Category".

I'm sorry. I'm a bit slow.

When you open section and in section menu you click Created.

This is where you go and we call it user homepage. It is a list off all user created articles in all categories.

This is where this menu link have to redirect you.
