QR Code generated by internal library?

Is it possible for qr codes to be generated by an internal qr code generation class (such as possibly http://phpqrcode.sourceforge.net/ )

then code could be generated once and saved

I think this would be better than linking out to google (or other 3rd party service)

I am not sure. Google make it perfectly well :) May be even quicker and more stable than nay other script we will be able to find and include to our library.
