Hello, about this new fix... I tested but after publishing an unpublished record the easysocial "new record" activity is not being posted

do I have to select the below option in the section events parameters?

cobalt_record_approved_activity

thank you

No. New record event is ok.

I do not know why it does not work. I tested localy once more and everything works just fine. Although if i am subscribed admin and I publish record there is no event. This is on purpose. I do not receve events that I produce myself.

Try to create registered user and subscribe section. Then submit and pulish record by admin.

maybe this may be causing the issue... because I have this situation I ahve users that submit records and they are created in unpublished state by default, then I review them as administrator, and if they are ok I publish them

but when I publish them I was expecting a easysocial stream item to be published, which is not...

I'll test a bit more

This is true. This is how it should work. Ad admin you do not see new article notification necause it is you who sut posted it. But you have to receive activity in ES.

Do you receive other activities in ES?

I tested some more, now I receive the activity notification in Easysocial but I have another issue:

when I approve a cobalt record a news ES activity is being posted but there I (the admin who approved the article) am named as the article author

eg I see:

oloccina (me) created article xyz in category zyx

while the article was instead being created by another user

I undertsand that this happens because it's me that have approved the article, but IMO it should name the real article creator instead

so you think that it would be possible to change this behaviour for ES activity notification?

Hello, I tested again today but I still have the described issue

oloccina when I approve a cobalt record a news ES activity is being posted but there I (the admin who approved the article) am named as the article author

I tested with cobalt 8.542

I just installed cobalt 8.547 but haven't tested yet

please check if in 8.542 the issue should already have been fixed as I think

thank you
