In the module presentation and the screenshots, I see this module can display section records.

Is it possible to restrict it to show only one category records ?

The module can show different articles only by types. If categories have different types the module will work as you need. Otherwise it can`t be done currently. The screenshot below shows that module can be set up by the section and type parameters:
