Featured order in Records module

But it does not. So, i think it would be a nice option to show "featured" and other articles in records module. Maybe it makes even sense to randomize the featured items?! If possible. Otherwise the same records are always on top.

unfortunately it is not possible at all. Featured first is implemented by first sorting by featured flag and then by default order. First order do this

It puts featured = 1 articles first and then others. Now second order sort 2 groups for example by time.

But there is no chance to sort one group with one order and second group with the other order.

But Featured Only + Random order does work, right?

e.g. I have 50 featured articles in total... but I display only 5 in module. So, it picks different items out of all featured.

Yes. Ther is a parameter in section featured first. This forst put featured articles and then others.

Possible. But featured first will be ordered witht he same order as the rest.
