Using Coupon - with rolling payment

We have a rolling subsription for a service which we also offer a free year intro coupon. What we don't understand is does Emerald after a year request a payment or does it think becasue the user signed up with a coupon that this is a rolling free account? Please advise.

Hello Guest, if you always offer that free period, you might set it in the Price parameters, just enter the full :

If you work with a 100% or full price coupon, you just have another workflow. To my knowledge, the usage limit of 1 time per user should work as well. But it results in an extra step/action for the user.

For sure there is more than one way to setup a free-trial to paid-membership scenario...
It depends on your offer and restrictions. You could also use 2 plans, and grant a certain plan for free. Or the other way around, sell a paid plan and grant another additional plan... etc.
