New version of amazing Cobalt CCK 8.207 is here.

One step closer to stable version. We are very exited. 1-2 more updates. We are thankful to all our customers who decided to use Cobalt while in RC stage, and go thou all issues and help us do discover and fix all bugs and errors. not only that we thank you people for all your suggestions which help us to make Cobalt better.

Cobalt 8 is about to get stable flag by the end of this month (April). As a result we will stop adding new features to Cobalt 8 core engine. It means that if change of the code leads to more stable version we apply it if not, we add it to Cobalt 9.

Although we may release some fields, modules, comment adapters or integrations. Above statement apples only to Cobalt core engine.

We update weekly and usually I post little summary of current update and what was done during the week. I had not posted anything last week and to be true there is nothing to say about this release either. Just few bugs fixed here and there.

But at the same time it means that Cobalt 8 will receive stable flag right by our plans at the end of this month.

Sometimes you do not need section to demonstrate articles. You only need users to submit forms and save form result for future processing. The examples are surveys, order product form or even contact us form.

Cobalt 8 CCK become better and better week after week. This week I have been able to participate with building live sites based on Cobalt. Our customers was so happy that they started with Cobalt because it turned out it is the only CCK that could satisfy their needs.

Very few small fixes this week. Good or bad? I think good because ti tells that Cobalt 7 is very stable and there is almost nothing to fix. I am sure some discoveries are still waiting for us in the future, but we are very happy that we could provide such a stable extension to our customers.
